SARA CHANDLER HOPKINS-BUTLER, 92, passed away April 8, 2010, at Dexter Health Care in Dexter. She was born in Skowhegan, Maine on February 7, 1918, the daughter of John and Laura (Rolfe) Chandler. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Phil, first husband of over 50 years Hadley Rowe Hopkins and second husband Walter Butler. Survivors include her children, John Bradley Hopkins and wife Harriet (Lincoln) Hopkins, Stephen Marshall Hopkins and wife Sharon (Harris) Hopkins; grand-children Elijah, Kathleen, Seth, Stacey and Stewart Hopkins; great-grandchildren Hadley Don, Ashley, Adrian, Corey, Stephen and Hadley Jane; niece Dorothy (Hopkins) Dow and nephews Eliot, John Noel, Rolfe Chandler and Andrew Hopkins. There will be no services at Sara's request.
