Obituary of Clayton William Hillman

CLAYTON WILLIAM HILLMAN, SR., 80, died May 5, 2010 at Togus. He was born February 18, 1930 in Unity, the son of George and Kathryn (Colwell) Hillman. He worked for many years in the woods with his two sons for Huff’s Forest Products and then drove a truck for Farian Bros. Clayton loved hunting, fishing and playing the lottery. He especially like taking rides in his car with his dog, Asa. He was predeceased by his father and two brothers and is survived by his mother, Kathryn Hillman of Troy; a daughter, Tammy Jo and Don Stairs of New Hampshire; three sons, Billy (Clayton Jr.) and Tammy Hillman of Troy, Tommy and Cindy Hillman of Troy, Randy Hillman of Brewer; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 13 at the Webster Cemetery in Troy. Friends may make donations to the Togus V.A. Center, Patient Fund, 1 V.A.
