Obituary of Jayden Alexander Kimball
Jayden Alexander Kimball, 2 years and 7 months, of Belfast passed away unexpectedly at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor on July 9, 2010. He was born December 9, 2007 in Belfast the son of Laurie Matthews and Noah Kimball. Jayden's time on earth was too short, but he left behind a lifetime of memories and moments that will never be forgotten. Jayden loved playing trucks with his brother Isaac. With his family he enjoyed the beach, looking for crabs under the seaweed, and snuggling on the couch watching tv at night. Jayden always slept with his Handy Manny blanket at night. His favorite book was Llama Llama Red Pajama, and favorite character was Franklin the Turtle. There is so much that Jayden enjoyed, especially his time spent with Jason Stewart of Waldoboro - Jason was a big part of Jayden's life.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Larry Matthews Sr., paternal grandfather, Patrick L. Kimball, and great grandfather, "Papa Lou" Lou Lessard.
Jayden is survived by his loving parents Laurie Matthews of Belfast, and Noah Kimball of Missouri; his brother and best friend Isaac, and soon to be brother Zachary; his "Nana" Edie Newbert and partner Raymond Pomeroy of Swanville; his "Mammy" Hope Boes and husband Quinton of Missouri; great grandmother "Mamie" Geneva Lessard of Belfast, great grandfather Freedom Harvey of Hampden, great grandparents Harriet Seekins and Jim Browning of North Carolina and great great grandmother Pearl Seekins of Searsport; aunts and uncles Shelly Gould, Katie Matthews, Larry and Julie Matthews, Judson and Cheyenne Colby; Jedd and Tracy Colby; great aunts and uncles Ralph and Joann Newbert, Willis and Marcia Newbert, Fran and Bill White, and Penny Pomeroy; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved Jayden and will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held from 1-3 pm on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, Me. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.ripostafh.com
