SUSAN M. BUBAR, 64, passed away August 8, 2010 at her residence in Belfast. She was born on July 10, 1946 in Machias, the daughter of William and Edna (Reefer) Dobbins. She grew up in Jonesport and graduated from Jonesport High School. She met and married her husband, Jerry, and they started their family settling in Belfast. She worked for many years at Bangor Savings Bank in Belfast. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, music and reading, especially Stephen King books. She also loved to travel and especially enjoyed her vacation trips to Mexico walking on the beach. She also recently enjoyed a balloon ride which had been one of her goals for many years. She is survived by her husband of almost 41 years, Jerry Bubar of Belfast; her children, Nancy Bubar of East Winthrop, Roxanne Marshall of Monmouth, Melinda Bubar and husband Tom Fehrs of Portland; her five grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph and Emily Marshall and Bridget and Jillian Fehrs; a special friend, Kym Sanderson who kept her smiling until the end and special dog, Rosie the pug. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
