Obituary of Elizabeth L. Kenney

Elizabeth L. Kenney, 84 of Belfast, passed away on September 1, 2010 in Belfast. She was born in Belfast on May 28, 1926 the daughter of Joseph and Lillian Kenney. Elizabeth worked for many years in manufacturing. In her spare time she enjoyed watching and feeding birds, watching Little House on the Prairie and planting and enjoying her flowers. Elizabeth was a longtime member of the First Church in Belfast. She was very involved in church activities like the Eight O’clock Club and the Christmas wreath program. She loved to walk and walked two miles every day until she was 80 and was unable to get around as well. She is predeceased by her parents; five siblings Emerald, Joseph, Arthur, Violet, and Henry. Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberley Overlock and partner Robert Brown of Searsmont; grandson Chad A. Overlock of Belfast; her favorite niece, Diana Brawer of Tennessee, many other nieces and nephews; as well as her special friend, Lucille Paul, and her cat Smokey.
