Obituary of Margaret Fogg
Margaret (Peggy) Ellsworth Fogg, 68, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
Peggy was born October 15, 1942 to William Denton Curtis and Mary Jeannette (Fisher) Curtis in Providence Rhode Island.
Peggy graduated from Cumberland High School in Cumberland, Rhode Island, attended the University of Maine at Orono and ultimately receive her Bachelor Of Science Degree in Social Work from University Without Walls (UWW) in Providence, Rhode Island.
Peggy was employed by Federated Incorporated, Kinney Jewelers, and with University of Rhode Island Extension Program. She moved to the Ellsworth area with her daughters in 1977 where she was employed with the Washington Hancock Community Agency and later served as Deputy Director of Eastern Area Agency on Aging in Brewer until her retirement.
Peggy was an avid reader, a great cook, a music enthusiast and a movie buff. She was also a huge fan of the Public Radio Program, “A Prairie Home Companion”. She spent a considerable amount of time during the summer months at her camp on Lower Lead Mountain Pond and loved to explore the beautiful back roads and lakes across Maine.
Peggy is survived by her lifetime love and husband, Randy, of Monroe, Maine. She is also survived by her daughters Lori (Dumond) Griffin and partner Gary Tilton, Boothbay Harbor, Claudia (Dumond) Henderson and her husband Henry, Newton, Massachusetts, sister Anne M. Curtis of Lamoine and Newton, Massachusetts, grandchildren Curtis Griffin, Ava Henderson, Lida Henderson, step- daughters Amy Peplowski, Cora Garrod and their children. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, her cat Mini and dog Dewey.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Mary C. Yeo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Monroe Library at Town of Monroe Library, 8 Swan Lake Avenue, Monroe Maine, 04951. A spring service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Ellsworth.
