Obituary of Hazen Nick Tibbetts

HAZEN “NICK” TIBBETTS, 20 of Jackson, died unexpectedly January 7, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. He is survived by his father, Hazen Tibbetts of Jackson; step-mother Darlene Tibbetts of Bucksport; his mother Melissa (Cole) Steele and step-father Brett Steele of Belfast; siblings, Michael Steele and Brittany Steele; paternal grandmother Eleanor Tibbetts, maternal grandmother Patricia Cole and grandfather Charles “Sonny” Cole Jr.; Aunt Lynne Crooker, Uncle Harold Tibbetts, Aunt Priscilla Peabody, Uncle Mark Tibbetts; many great aunts, great uncles and cousins as well as two best friends, Gus Dunphy and Noah Willett, not to forget his beloved sidekick, his dog “Brutis”. Nick was a graduate of Belfast Area High School and was employed at Mathew Brothers in Belfast. He enjoyed music, playing guitar and being with his friends. He was always on the go and was quick to put a smile on your face. He will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched. Memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 13th at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
