Obituary of Annie Mitchell Davis

Annie Lillian Mitchell Davis 89 of Portland Maine and Fryeburg Healthcare passed away peacefully March 14, 2011. Annie was born in Montville Maine January 27, 1922. Annie graduated from Frankfort High School. Annie worked for the Boy Scouts of America before retiring. She is preceded in death by her husband Francis Roy Davis in 1976 also her mother Bessie W. Mitchell of Augusta, and her father Charles A. Mitchell Sr. of Frankfort and her siblings, Alice M. Weston of Gardiner, Violet Clark of Belfast, Donna L. Mitchell of Port St. Lucie, FL, Charles A. Mitchell Jr. of Frankfort, Harold L. Mitchell of Freedom, and Marie H. Mitchell of Scarborough. She is survived by her son Robert F. Davis and his wife Lorraine, grandson Robert Trevor Davis of Conway NH and granddaughter, Stephenie B. Cattonar of Atlanta Georgia; brothers and sister, Elmin H. Mitchell of Montville, Leon O. Mitchell of Prairieville, LA and Joyce E. Gregoire of Bloomfield, CT. Annie’s family would like to thank the nurses at Fryeburg Healthcare for the dedicated work and the care they gave Annie while she was in their care. A wake will be held at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home on March 22nd 2011 from 2 to 4 pm. Graveside services will be held in the Chapel at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta in May. In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Annie Davis to the local Red Cross organization.
