Obituary of Clayton J. Miller
CLAYTON J. MILLER, 82 of Belfast, passed away May 19,2011 at EMMC in Bangor. He was born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, the son of George and Veda Miller. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. Clayton loved fighter planes and had received awards for marksmanship. Clayton worked at RCA as an industrial designer. He came to Maine in 1971 and established Jonah’s Workshop, a graphic design company based in Searsport and Belfast, with his wife, Virginia Miller. Clayton loved sailing with his family and his dog Toby.
He was predeceased by his mother, his father, a twin sister and two brothers. Clayton is survived by his wife loving of 62 years, Virginia Miller of Belfast; his children, Kathy Loblein and husband Ruffy of Belfast, Jeffrey Miller and his wife Laura of Waldo and Victoria Miller of Searsport; his grandchildren, Katherine, Jason and Jennifer Loblein; Meagan, Daniel, David Miller and wife Kachina, Brian, Kevin Miller and great grandchild Aspen.
