Harriet N. Oliver, 66, wife of Maynard Oliver, passed away suddenly Wednesday May 12, 2011 at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth. Harriet was born February 4, 1945 in Bangor. Harriet was the daughter of Harry N. and Theresa Miller and Alberta J. Carter. Harriet loved spending hours on her computer playing games. She loved to read. She enjoyed playing 31 and laughing with her good friends Wylma, Marilyn and Ruby on Thursday afternoons. She was always up for a trip to Walmart. She adored her dogs Brady and Bear. What she loved most in the world was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who all lovingly called her "Nanny Newni". In addition to her husband of 52 years she is survived by her four children, Brent Oliver and his wife Su of Deer Isle, Sonda Klemenz and her husband Keith of Little Deer Isle, Gidget Fagerberg and her husband Eric of Attleboro MA, Scott Oliver and his wife Rita of Deer Isle; a sister Nancy Bray of Stonington, a brother Del Gross of Stonington; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristina, Hollan, Elizabeth, Kasey, Lindsay, Lucas, Mason, Ethan and Richard; four great grandchildren, Germanie, Jaden, Julian and Campbell. She was predeceased by her mother Alberta , Her daughter Kris Ann at birth, A very special grandson Jarvis and a special son-in-law Ricky. Funeral services will be Monday May 16, 2011 at 2pm at Community of Christ, Burnt Cove Road Stonington. With Cheryl Brown officiating.
