PAULINE N. LITTLEFIELD, 87, died May 21, 2011 at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. She was born in Albion on May 8, 1924, the daughter of Bert and Rose (McFarland) Perkins. Pauline was one of the founding members of Knox Ridge Baptist Church, former treasurer of the Town of Montville for years and ran the town office out of her home. She and her husband, Clayton, raised poultry for many years for the local poultry industry.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clayton Littlefield of Montville, two sons and their wives, Hervey and Sonya Littlefield of Mississippi, Stephen and Louanne Littlefield of Islesboro; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday May 26th at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 27th at Knox Ridge Baptist Church. Interment will be at Hall-Dale Cemetery in Montville. On-line condolences may be offered to www.ripostafh.com.
