Hello to the family of Chester Leigh Buck, I called him Leigh. My name is Roger Starbird and I served with Leigh in the USAF. We first met at Lackland AFB when we were both scheduled to go to Chanute AFB to attend weather school.
We were best friends all through school, and then stationed together at Tinker AFB from 1962 until 1964 when he was sent to Alaska.
I have many memories I would like to share with the family if any of you would like to contact me.

I first tried to contact Leigh maybe 7 or 8 years ago and when I pulled his name up on line, I found his obituary. At that time I wasn't able to find a way to contact the family, so thought I would try again. He was a good friend, and we had many, many good times together.
