Obituary of Clifford Levitt Cummings
CLIFFORD LEVITT CUMMINGS passed away October 6, 2011 in Moscow following a long illness. He was born in South Paris the son of Chester and Arline (Johnson) Cummings. He worked in the woods for many years for George Taylor and Bud Lund, Jenness Trucking. He liked to fish and go camping with family and friends and loved his dog Bullet.
He is predeceased by his parents; a daughter Sue Lynn; one sister Eleanor Witham. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Barbara Cummings of Moscow; seven daughters and two sons, Deborah and her husband Leon Berry of Winslow, Melinda and her husband Gene Hewins of Waterville, Valerie Cummings and partner Francis Frapper of Belgrade, Sherry and her husband Jerry Chase of Moscow, Arline and her husband Fred Soule of Waterville, Clifford Cummings Jr. of Harmony, Linda and her husband Adam Ingersoll of Moscow, Roland Cummings of Moscow, Victoria and her husband David Fletcher II of Madison; two sisters Doris Waterhouse of South Paris and Patricia Smith of China; also 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
