Obituary of Robert Lowberg
Robert Lowberg of Hope, born Feb. 19, 1930, died peacefully of renal failure at his home according to his wishes,6:18 p.m., on the first Sabbath day, of the eleventh month, in the Year of our Lord, 2011 (Nov. 5, 2011). His wife, Flora, son Alan and daughter Ronner were with him.
His last words were “Flo — where’s Flo.” He became a new creature in Jesus Christ in his remaining weeks. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War; he loved lobstering, hunting and dogs. He is survived by his wife, Flora Eaton Lowberg; four sons and one daughter, Arthur and his wife, Sue, Donald and his wife, Ada, Alan, Ronner and her husband, Mark, and Robert Wayne and his wife, Pattie; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, William; three sisters, Ruth and her husband, Paul, Doris and Mildred; and many nieces and nephews.
