Obituary of Emma Lillian Buddington

EMMA LILLIAN BUDDINGTON, 90 of Blue Hill, Maine, Natick and Watertown, Massachusetts, passed away on December 31, 2011 surrounded by her family. Emma was born on October 21, 1921 in Brighton, MA to John and Wilhelmina (Hamilton) Stitcher. She married Donald Powell Buddington on December 9, 1942. She is survived by four children, Nancy Anderson and her husband James of Sedgwick, Maine, Ruth Harrington of Ayer, MA, James and Lawrence, both of Blue Hill, ME. She is survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Emma was predeceased by her husband, Donald Sr. in 2000 and her son Donald Jr. in 1998; her parents; sister, brother and many nieces and nephews. She was a past Worthy Matron of Pequossette Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star in Watertown, MA. Emma enjoyed taking china painting lessons, painting man items and giving them as gifts.
