Obituary of Minnie Baughman Watt

MINNIE (BAUGHMAN) WATT, 69 of Waldo passed away January 2, 2012 at Belfast. She was born in Rockland on December 2, 1942 to James and Lucy (Grotton) Baughman. Minnie provided day care to Belfast area children out of her home on Lord Street for many years. She also cleaned at MBNA for several years. Her biggest passion was enjoying time with her grandchildren and her family. She enjoyed gardening fishing, puzzles, reading and the simple pleasures in life like spending time with her husband. She is predeceased by her parents; her siblings Ulrich Sawyer and Lawrence Sawyer, Sandra Clynch, Jill Steeves, David and Peder Baughman. Minnie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Peter Watt of Waldo; her children, Brenda Ward and husband Allen of Waldo, Peter Watt and wife Tammy of Saco, David Watt and Destiny Watt, both of Waldo; siblings, Sally Simonton and husband Don of Rockland, Veronica Baughman of Connecticut; grandchildren Tom, Tabitha, Amanda, Maddie, Evan, Micheal; great-grandchildren Lila, Tyler, Makayla; several nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends Bill, Jerry and Wendy; and her mini schnauzer, “Blackie”.
