Obituary of Timothy Jay Brown
MEDFORD - Timothy Jay Brown, 54, died Jan. 21, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at a Lincoln hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tim was born Nov. 6, 1957, in Brunswick, Ga., son of Ansil and Geneva (Lovett) Brown. He served his country in the U.S. Army. In 1984, he married his high school sweet heart, Cindy (Terrio) Brown. Tim was a hardworking family man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snow sledding, spending time with his family and friends, and playing cards. He was so happy to be able to spend the last 10 weeks of his life loving and cuddling his beautiful new granddaughter, "Grampy's girl," Julia. Tim is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cindy of Medford; daughter, Tiffany and Michael LeBrun, and granddaughter, Julia, of Lincoln; father, Ansil Brown and Ann; sister, Lisa Brown; brother, Calvin Brown and Karla, all of Lincoln; brother, Michael Brown and Julie of Lowell; sister, Holli Brown of Portland; mother-in-law, Kathleen Terrio of Howland; sisters-in-law, Karen and Brian Dawson of Howland, and Jerri Terrio and Jim of Florida; brother-in-law, Joe Terrio of Passadumkeag; nieces, Brandie, Brooke, Kirstie, Kasse and Jenna; nephew, Brody; and a special great-niece, Anaraivyn. He was predeceased by his mother, Geneva Brown; and father-in-law, Gerald "Popeye" Terrio. At Tim's request there will be no funeral services, but a graveside service will be held in the spring.
