Obituary of JoAnn Marcille
JoAnn was born to James and Rose Fiorilla in Brooklyn, N.Y. on July 23, 1923 and lived her childhood years in Norwalk, Conn. JoAnn met the love of her life, Phil, and was married in 1942 until his death in 1996. While living in Brookfield, prior to moving to Cape Coral, Fla. and then onto Maine, JoAnn was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and founded Friends From Home, volunteered her time to the Fish Organization and Meals on Wheels. While living in Florida, she enjoyed working with ceramics and went on to making beautiful porcelain dolls and clothes.
JoAnn is also predeceased by son-in-law, Mike; and brother, Jim.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Phillip and wife Nancy, Don and wife Linda, Tom, Sue, and Leisa and husband Todd; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Fran; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Private services were held at the Congregational Church in Newcastle.
