Obituary of Randy L. Matthews

RANDY L. MATTHEWS, 53 of Searsport, passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2012. He was born January 30, 1959 in Bangor to Harry and Hazel (Palmer) Matthews. Randy enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing and the out of doors. He enjoyed auto mechanics and loved to make a good deal trading or swapping items. He is predeceased by both parents and a brother, Larry. Survivors include his significant other of 29 years, Tammie Merrifield of Searsport and a son, Dalton Matthews, also of Searsport; his siblings, Evelyln Roman, Geraldine Coffin and husband Vernard, Lois Noyes, Daniel Matthews and fiance Michelle, all of Searsport; several nieces and nephews. Services will be announced at a later date. Burial will be at the family lot at Elmwood Cemetery in Searsport. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
