Obituary of Martha N. Troupe
MARTHA N. TROUPE, 77, died February 21, 2012 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, Maine. She passed quietly with her daughter, Terri, at her side. She was born in Starks, Georgia on March 20, 1934 to Raymond and Fannie (Wright) Bristol. Her family was very important to her, she loved decorating for the holidays, and she loved cooking. As a biscuit cook at Hardee's, she won an award at a national competition for being one of the best cooks. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Clayton Troupe; brothers James, Dewitt, R.B., and Lanis. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Troupe Freese and her husband George; two grandchildren, Nora and Clayton Freese of Bremen; her son Timothy Cottrell of MS; siblings, Maureen Roberts, Marjorie Roberts, Faye Carter, Libby Sumner, Larry and Ronnie Bristol, all of Georgia.
