Obituary of Mary E. Vallera

MARY E. VALLERA, 85, died April 7, 2012 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Rockland on July 9, 1926, the daughter of Wilbert and Agnes (Collarmore) MacDonald. She worked for many years locally in the pants factory, Stinson's Canning and at Metro Glass packing bottles. She was a lifetime member of the Belfast VFW. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael; a daughter Michaelene McKay and a grandson Anthony Vallera. She is survived by seven children, Wilbert Vallera of Pennsylvania, Rev. Judy Smith of Iowa, Nancy York of Belfast, Barbara Vallera of Thomaston, Shirley MacHinski of Sanford, Mary Thompson of Florida, Jane Nealey of Northport; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to call at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast on Friday, April 13th from 2-3 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with Rev.
