Obituary of Harold Edwin Leach

Harold Edwin Leach, Searsport, ME Harold E. Leach, 76 year old, of Searsport, ME died peacefully Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Togus, ME. Harold was born in Islesboro, ME May 15, 1936. He was the son of the late Fernald and Gertrude (Mc Laughlin) Leach. Following high school Harold served his country in the United States Army. Harold was a loving and caring man that greatly enjoyed life. He liked to play piano, sing, read and take out his boat for a nice ride. He was an avid churchgoer and loved to share time with his family and friends. Predeceasing Harold are his parents; sisters Joanne Price, Harriet Parsons, and a niece Andrea Sinclair. Surviving is a brother, Carleton Leach of NH, sisters; Leila Babbidge of Islesboro, ME, Priscilla Sinclair of FL, Cynthia Perry of Liberty, ME, Judy Leach of Islesboro, ME and Sharon Helps of NH. Also surviving is a dear friend Dora and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. An 11:00 am graveside service for Harold will be held this Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Islesboro, ME. In lieu of flowers the Leach family suggests memorials be made in Harold's memory to Pine Tree Hospice, 883 West Main Street, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426. Care for Harold and his family has been entrusted to the Riposta Funeral Home of Belfast, ME. 11:00 am Graveside Service at Greenwood Cemetery, Islesboro, ME.
