Obituary of Colby R. Bartlett

COLBY R. BARTLETT, 80, passed away unexpectedly at his residence Appleton on June 11, 2012. He was born in Appleton on March 26, 1932 to Ray and Mary (Wentworth) Bartlett. He was a long-time member of Burketville Grange. Most recently he attended Safe Harbor Church in Searsport where he played the keyboard. He farmed at the family farm his whole life and loved walking and visiting in the community. He enjoyed his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews very much. Colby also enjoyed fellowship at his church, gardening and the outdoors. He is predeceased by both parents; and a brother, Paul. Survivors include two brothers, Donald I. Bartlett and his wife Lucille of West Appleton; Harold F. Bartlett and his wife Linda of Searsmont; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30th at West Appleton Country Club, West Appleton Road, Appleton. A reception will follow. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast.
