Obituary of Justin N. Thompson

Justin N. Thompson , "Jut", 85 of Cape Split, Addison, passed away on Friday, June 29. He is survived by his wife Martha ( Boone ) Thompson of Addison and his daughters Sharon and her husband Jeffrey Kayser,of Chester, CT, Bonnie and her husband Mark Vallery, of Kiln, MS , Laurie and her husband, Raymond Polak of Susquehanna, PA and Kelly wife of his son, Brian Wass Thompson, who predeceased Justin on Nov. 22, 2007. Justin also leaves his two brothers, Ken and Bill Thompson and his sister, Delaine Grant, all of Addison. Also surviving him are his 11 grandchildren and 6 great grand children. Justin served in the Navy in WWII and was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Middletown, CT where he worked for 38 years residing in Middletown until his retirement. Shortly after his retirement he returned to his beloved birthplace, Cape Split, Addison. In celebration of his life a memorial service will be held on July 7 at 11 AM at the Cape Split Chapel in Addison. Arrangements under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, Belfast.
