Obituary of Susanna R. Lloyd

Susanna (Sue) R. Lloyd, 89, passed away peacefully June 30, 2012 at her summer residence in Boothbay, Maine. She was born in Buffalo, NY on April 3, 1923 daughter of Alfred Erwin and Catherine Ayers (Daniels) Rankin. She spent most of her life in Scarsdale, NY before moving to Sarasota, Florida where she resides during the winter months. Predeceasing Sue are her parents; her son, Robbie Lloyd; a sister, Nancy Rankin Heider. Surviving are a son, Randy Lloyd of Sarasota, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Lloyd and John DelVecchio, Bradenton, FL and Boothbay, ME; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Susan Rankin of Boothbay Harbor, ME and Vero Beach, FL; Nieces and nephews in North Carolina, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. No formal funeral arrangements have been made as per Sue’s request. An informal private family gathering is being held in Boothbay, ME. A celebration of life will be held later in Sarasota, FL.
