Obituary of Christopher C. Costa
Christopher C. Costa of Liberty passed away on July 24th 2012 with family by his side after a lengthy illness & a courageous battle lasting many years. He was born May 23, 1977 in Augusta, Maine. He graduated from Lawrence High School in Fairfield in 1997. As a young adult he attended Lord Fairfax Community College in Winchester, Virginia where he resided from 1999 until 2008 working in security.
Chris will be missed by family members and friends in both Maine, Connecticut & Virginia. He is survived by his younger brother whom he graduated high school with Joseph S. Costa & his wife Dr. Julie Costa and nephew Adam from Bedford Massachusetts, his youngest brother Anthony Costa who he spent many hours with in Virginia along with his wife Shannon Costa and two nieces Jasmine & Jennifer will also miss him greatly; his youngest sister Allison Costa whom he had a very close relationship with in Virginia as they always talked and spent many long hours together enjoying each other’s company were always inseparable will also miss him greatly.
Chris is also survived by his grandparents Carl & Barbara Butler from Palermo along with his Uncle Bill Butler & wife Linda & their children, Cindy Spearin and her husband Steven and children, along with Kimberly Brown & husband Blake and son, all from Maine. In Connecticut he will be missed by his Aunt Mary Ann Brescia and her husband Donald and their children.
His father Joseph Costa & Debbie Costa will miss their first born son greatly. Chris & his mother were inseparable throughout his younger years and the last few years she cared for him on a daily basis. Chris had a full life accomplishing many things in the short time he was here from gaining his driver license, a car, attending college and, most important, his own beautiful condo in Winchester that he was so very proud of. It was a long struggle for Chris from 2008 until the Lord took him home to caress him in his arms. Chris was laid to rest on July 27th 2012 at Branch Mills Cemetery in China. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 1st 2:00 P.M. at the Palermo Christian Church in Palermo. Arrangements under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast.
