Obituary of Gerald S Welch
GERALD S. WELCH, 67 of Frankfort, passed away August 6, 2012 in Bangor. He was born in Winterport on February 21, 1945 to Norman and Lillian (Littlefield) Welch. He was a U.S. Army veteran who worked for several years at George Adams Company operating heavy equipment. He enjoyed stock cars, family gatherings, “food, family and friends’ in that order”. He was Fire Chief in Frankfort for many years and was a member of Belfast VFW.
He was predeceased by a brother, Norman; sister Evelyn; and a brother-in-law Raymond Webster Sr. He is survived by three sister, Margaret Welch, Glendora Webster, and Edna Leach and husband Leroy all of Prospect; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 11th at Maple Grove Cemetery in Prospect. Family and friends gathering at the Frankfort Church following.
