Obituary of Gerard F. Audet

Gerard F. Audet of Winsow, 68, died January 11, 2013 at Maine General Hospital in Waterville following a period of declining health with his wife by his side He was born in Westbrook on Sept 26, 1944 to Emile and Bertha Audet. He was educated in Portland and Waterville schools. He served in the Army from 1961 to 1967, seeing tours of duty in Korea and Germany. In 1963 he married the former Evelyn Veilleux. After the Army, he went to work at Scott Paper Co. where he stayed until it closed. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, of Winslow, daughter Lisa Hanson, of Winslow, son Gary and wife Sonel, of Bellingham, MA, 4 grandchildren, 4 sisters and one brother. At Gerard's request, there will be no funeral service. Burial will be in the spring at the convenience of the family.
