Obituary of Elwin Skip Lord
Elwin H. "Skip" Lord Jr, 42, of Belfast died unexpectedly January 29, 2013 at his residence in Belfast. He was born October 6, 1970 in Camden a son of Elwin and Betty Leland Lord Sr.
Skip was a graduate of Camden High School class of 1989. He was a reservist in the United States Army. He worked in the plumbing industry since 1992. Skip enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and helping others.
He is survived by both his parents, his wife Mary Lord of Belfast, his children: Chelsea Lord of Swanville, Carmen Lord of Swanville and his step children Jared Drinkwater of Belfast and Natasha Cahill of Passadumkeag; his sister Dianna Lord and her companion Vernan Poppe, of Searsport, and his brother Roderick Lord and his wife Sarah of Belmont; his sister in law Lorraine Trundy and her husband Jason Trundy of Lincolnville; his father in law William West of Swanville; his aunts and uncles: Elaine and Richard Niles of Union, and Helen and Raymond Ludwig of Thomaston, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 3-4pm Friday February 8, 2013 at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, where a time of reflection will be held at 4pm.
