Obituary of Myron L Hanson
BROOKS
MYRON L. HANSON, passed away April 1, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. He went peacefully home to be with the Lord. He was born March 8, 1941 to Wilment and Lucy Hanson. Myron worked as a mechanic at Kallis Ford and at Ingraham Equipment. He was a past firefighter for the Town of Brooks. He loved hunting, fishing and camping at Cowan’s Cove with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and working in his garage.
He is survived by his wife Violet (Furbush) Hanson of Brooks; one sister Elaine Erskine and husband Richard of Washington State; two brothers, Hilton Hanson and wife Jean of Albion, Victor Hanson and wife Mary of Augusta; one son Randy Hanson and friend Michelle Ripley of Jackson; grandson Lyle Hanson of Unity; a second family of Myron’s: sons Melvin Ryder and wife Lisa of VA, Ted Ryder and Dolly of Stockton Springs, John Ryder and wife Vicki of Belfast, George Ryder and wife Cheryl of Stockton Springs; daughter Inez Smith and husband Howard of Brooks; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Delores Robbins of Albion, three brothers, Albert Stubbs, J. David Stubbs and Alton Stubbs.
§ Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4th at Brooks Bible Church.
