Obituary of Margaret Eileen McMullen

Margaret E. McMullen Margaret Eileen McMullen,71 of York, died on April 3,2013 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Waterville on October 21,1941 to Lucile and Clifton McMullen. She attended local schools, graduated from Waterville High School in 1960 and studied at the University of Maine in Orono. Meg was a gifted writer and worked for many years in the newspaper, catalog and proofreading businesses. During the last 30 years of her life, she found great success as a dealer in the antiques and collectibles trade. She leaves one sister, Faith McMullen, of Waterville and several cousins. She was comforted in her last months of illness by her dear friends Sabra Burdick and Sandra Lucas. She will also be greatly missed by her life long friend Jim Wysong. A remembrance of her life will be celebrated with her friends and neighbors at Yorkshire Commons in York. Graveside services will be held in Waterville at a later date. She found great solace in both during this last year.
