Obituary of Dean A. James
CHINA -- Dean A. James, 45, of China, went to be with his Lord on June 17, 2013, after being involved in a car accident. Born Oct. 4, 1967, in Gardiner, Dean was a family man who really enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was always there for all who needed him; he was a very generous man. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who was in need. He would call you and talk for hours about everything and nothing; you always enjoyed his calls.
He enjoyed the outdoors, barbecuing for family and friends, four wheeling, mud runs, fishing, restoring anything back to its original state and listening to country music.
He was predeceased by his biological father, Robert James; his grandmother, Evelyn Watson; and his brother, Clarence York.
He is survived by his mother and father, Jeanne and Raymond York; the love of his life, Laurie Gagne, and her children, Jake, Keri and Alec; his adopted daughter, Jasmine Sukeforth; his son, Logan; his brothers, Dale and Erin, Danny and Tammy, and Preston and Amanda; his sisters, Dawn and Timmy, Rae Ann and Rob, Lori York, and Bertha and Mike; aunt Sharon Cote; uncle Ernie Cote; his pride and joy, his nieces and nephews, Cheyanne, Kristin, Eric, Annie, Markie, Timmy, Joey, Hope, Brandy, Austin "Rambo," Devon, Amanda, Jason, Josh, Jesse, Jake, Jordon and Brian.
He will be dearly missed and loved always in our hearts, never forgotten.
There will be a family and friends gathering at 1 p.m. July 6, 2013, at 82 Windsor Road, Chelsea.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated to help the family with funeral expenses. Donations may be made to the Maine State Credit Union, c/o Jeanne York; please indicate memo: Dean James.
