Finally collected this from Lee Woodward‘s law office on my last trip to Belfast, ME in August of 2022.
Thank you for setting it aside for me, it’s got pride of place in our home in southern Vermont, and it’ll be traveling to South Wales in a years time.
It’s Mrs. Batanero now, I’ve married that Brit you liked so much. Chloe and Rhiannon are growing like weeds, and I couldn’t be prouder of the adult Sidney is becoming
Even though it was a long time ago, I still remember the trips to Boston and the glass flowers at the Harvard museum. We just lost Peter’s father to a stroke Saturday evening, I’d like to think you helped him transition, and I silently asked for your help. The two of you would have gotten along famously.

Chloe Carts Dorothy Anne Batanero. Richards second great granddaughter. She wanted to share her own post. She says she loves her Bundy, and wishes she could have seen the big pond out in Waldo and catch frogs with her mummy. On our last trip to Belfast early next year, she wants to see the big house on Church street and leave some flowers for her Bundy and Nana.

This is Rhiannon Sian Christine Angharad Batanero. She is my daughter. I am Richard's eldest granddaughter. Bundy never got to meet his newest great-grandaughters, but through the stories I have told them both, they admire and love him very much. For myself, the pain of his loss has been unbearable at times, but our family holds his memory and all his accomplishments close to us with extreme pride. We will be leaving the U.S. very soon for good to move to the United Kingdom permanently. Taking Bundy and his spirit with us. My new husband and I will be planting a rose bush at Normandy Beach in France (with the local governments permission) to recognise his, and all of his fellow comrades brave landing on D-Day. My husband, Peter was enormously proud and happy to have known him briefly before his passing. We love you Bundy!!! Peter, Marianne, Chloe, Rhiannon, and Sidney.
