Obituary of Agnes Dion
WATERVILLE -- Agnes has left this world on Aug. 4, 2013, to start a new life in heaven with her Lord. Agnes spent the last remaining time here with family by her side, which will miss her more than words will ever say.Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Meddie Dion Jr.; mother Arlene (Austin) Meunier; and father Joseph Ludger Meunier.Agnes loved her family and spending as much time as she could with them, playing cards; reading the Bible; talking about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored; watching movies; talking about the Lord with her close friends; talking to her sister-in-law and close friend of many years, Mary Elliott; and attending family functions, as she was able to do this past Saturday at a family reunion.Agnes worked hard all of her life at many jobs -- shoe shops, Keyes Fiber and a certified nursing assistant's position -- where she touched many more people with her loving touch. Agnes was a member of the Living Water Community Church, where she served the Lord for many years until her own health took a turn and she was no longer able to attend, although Agnes continued to reach out to people sharing her love and knowledge of the Lord, bringing many more souls to salvation.Agnes' family includes her son, Randy Dion, and wife Christina; daughter Patricia (Dion) and husband John Bickford; grandchildren Michael, Christopher (deceased), Jacob, Cassandra, Jacksie, Tabitha; great-grandchildren Daniel, Savannah, Rihanna; siblings Cynthia Laney, husband Carl, Louise Witham, husband Lloyd, Eugene Meunier, wife Beverly, Gordon Meunier (deceased), wife Margaret, Norman Meunier, wife Polly, Shianna Witham, husband Maurice (deceased), Wilfred Meunier, Wayne Meunier, wife Linda, Charlotte Higgins, husband, Larry, Ludger Meunier, (deceased); and many nephews and nieces.Special acknowledgment goes to Brad and Eli Hall, Mary Elliott and family, Allen Nutt, Sue Grasse, Michael and Susan Dorval, Becky Emery and family, and hospice staff.Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at Living Water Community Church, 169 Rice Rips Road, Oakland.
