Obituary of Linda Cummings

LINDA CUMMINGS, 71, passed away August 6, 2013 at Ellsworth. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 16, 1941, a daughter of Arthur and Henrietta (Ayles) Grant. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, painting. She loved animals and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband until their later years. Linda also enjoyed playing slots and traveling. She was president of Maine Maritime Academy’s Women’s Club. She was predeceased by a daughter, Melissa. Survivors include her husband of 50 years,Gerald Cummings of Mariaville; her children Gigi Wright and husband Donnie of Oklahoma, Heather MacPhee and husband Alan of Damariscotta, Judy Stone and husband Arthur of Mariaville, Michael Cummings and wife Jodi of Bucksport; two step-daughters, Deborah Lund of South Portland and Victoria Paul of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Rene Vigue of Florida and Frannie Grant of Brunswick; ten grandchildren, Christian, Joseph, Sonja, Renee, Casandra, Jessica, Nicholas, Mikey, Brent and Mary; ten great-grandchildren; four nieces and nephews.
