Obituary of Stanton L. Harding

Stanton L Harding Sr. 73 died peacefully October 12, 2013 at EMMC with his family by his side. He was born December 13,1939 at Sisters Hospital in Waterville Maine. He was raised in Albion by Joyce Harding. He attended Albion schools, and served his country in the Unites States Air Force as a Thundering T-bird. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved racing, Chevy trucks, tractors, watching t.v. being outdoors, spending time with family and eating at McDonalds. He was predeceased by the love of his life Sandra in 2006,his adopted mother Joyce, his birthmother Wilberta, brother Anthony, and son in law Richard. He is survived by his 4 children Tammy Turner, Angela Hurd and husband Kevin, Stan Harding Jr. and wife Missy, Charles Harding and wife Brandy 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Monica, Tayler, Allan, Miranda, Lacey, Kyle, Wyatt, Joseph and Samantha and was excited to be able to meet his first great grandchild Lucas, due in December. Stan is also survived by 2 brothers Donnie Harding and Pete Crosby and his wife Nancy, and 3 sisters Nancy Lewis, Geri Harding and Paula Wetmore and husband Norman. He is also survived by his favorite cat Sampson. A private viewing was held for the children on October 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held October 16, 2013 at 4 pm at Riposta Funeral Home in Belfast. Burial will be held privately at a later date at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta beside his wife at the family's discretion.
