Obituary of George Leonard Ash
GEORGE LEONARD ASH, 57, passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 18, 2013. He was born in Concord NH on July 10, 1956 and raised by Connie Osgood on Sunnyside Farms. George was a loving husband, father and granddad and brother. George loved his jewels, Betty, Crystal, Diamond, Coral and Opal. He loved his grandchildren, Will, Angelique, Randi, Tristan, Mason, Terijean and Ka Mao, very much. He cherished his time spent with family and friends.
George instilled in his girls the values he stood for: family, love, compassion, integrity, honesty and faith. Love was his rock, from which he and Betty built the foundations of a happy family who they were able to watch grow and thrive, living each day knowing the love and sacrifices he gave to keep them all safe. As a Persian Gulf War veteran, George was used to sacrifice, and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family and friends.
George is survived by his wife Betty; their four daughters, Crystal Box, Diamond Feener, Coral Ash and Opal Ash; their spouses Jason Box, Bill Feener and Gabrielle Eiholzer; his grandchildren Will, Angelique, Randi, Tristan, Mason, Terri Jean and Ka Mao as well as his sister Alice.
Since George didn’t like good-byes, he says see you later and love you, have a good day.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast on Friday, December 27th from 2-3 p.m. where a memorial service will begin at 3 p.m.
