Obituary of Timothy A. Woods

TIMOTHY A. WOODS, 50 of Knox, passed away on December 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born on February 23, 1963 in Belfast, the son of Gary and Sylvia (Ashey) Woods. Tim graduated from Belfast Area High School in 1981 and worked for many years as a journeyman oil burner technician for Lakeside Burner Service in Swanville. Tim was very talented in the building construction field and did beautiful projects for himself, friends and family. Tim enjoyed many things, a patriots game, fishing, horseshoes, an evening with friends and family on the mountain or around a fire pit, he loved antiques of all kinds and cherished his 1979 Mustang. Tim is survived by his wife Lisa (McCafferty) Woods of Knox, son Codey Woods of Knox, parents Gary and Sylvia (Ashey) Woods of Belfast, a sister Belinda Woods of Belfast, a brother Thomas Woods and wife Duffy of Northport. Brother-In-laws Mark McCafferty and wife RoAnn of Belmont, John McCafferty of Searsmont, Sister-in-laws Lori McCafferty of Searsmont and Angela Crawford of Searsmont. Many neices, nephews, great neices and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. Timmy was loved by many and leaves behind these very special people Jake Horton and Cassandra St. Clair, Dustin Fowler and Mollie Arute, Daryl Emery, Emily Horton and Zach Schmesser, Meghan Cronin, Miranda Grotton Doughty and Casey Jones. Best Friend and Brother Greg Merrifield and special friends Paul Harford, Jason Raven, Jeannie Smith, Jay Spaulding, Terry Littlefield and Jack Lucas along with many friends throughout Knox, Montville and Freedom. Tim also leaves behind his very special grand puppy Hailey May. Tim was predeceased by his in-laws Nancy and Thomas McCafferty, Brother in Law Michael Joseph McCafferty, first cousin Ricky Woods and very special friends Austin Grant and Bruce Farrar. A Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday January 2, 2014 at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, Maine.
