Obituary of Ian Curran
BELFAST
IAN CURRAN, 83, passed away January 1, 2014 at Bangor. He was born in Scotland on May 4, 1930 to George and Sarah (Goldie) Curran. He enjoyed working in New York at Cambridge Instruments but enjoyed his retirement in Maine. During his retirement, he traveled to Africa twice. Ian played the bagpipes performing in parades with a bagpiper band.
Ian is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce Curran ; his son Joseph Kaminski and wife Fran of Unity; siblings, Heather, Sabrina and Alexander; three grandchildren. Special thanks to Bill Whitney for his kind support.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 9th at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
