Obituary of Maynard Morton

Maynard “Butch” Morton Maynard Alden Morton, age 70 died January 6, 2014 peacefully at his home on Westport Island. Butch was born June 2, 1943 in Boothbay Harbor, Maine the son of Milan & Annetta Morton of Boothbay Harbor. Butch is survived by his wife of 33 years Asenath Morton of Westport Island. He leaves 2 brothers Milan and his wife Nancy Morton of Wiscasset, David and his wife Kerina of Trevett, 4 sisters Helen MacKenize of Alna, Isabelle and her husband Teddy Howe of Lewiston, Ruth and her husband Charles Balsdon of Boothbay Harbor, Nancy and her husband James Leavitt of Boothbay Harbor. He leaves 3 sons Edwin Morton and his companion Judy Malone of Gardiner, David and his wife Becky Morton, Sr. of Whitefield and Jay R. Morton and his companion Janet Morse of Harrington, and 2 step-daughter Patricia and her husband Perry Sproul of Wiscasset, Rebecca Seigars and her companion Marvin McKeown of Dewey Arizona and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. The family would like to express thanks for the wonderful care given to Butch from Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice Care. At the request of Butch there will be no funeral service. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be given to Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice Care.
