Obituary of Lorraine E. Robbins

Lorraine E. Robbins, 75, of Belfast passed away at Waldo County Hospital Sunday March 16, 2014. She was born in Prospect January 27, 1939 a daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret (Ward) Seekins. Lorraine loved reading, crocheting and cooking as well as butterflies. She loved her time spent at MCIR in Brewer doing rehabilitation and Special Olympics. Most of all she enjoyed cooking for family and friends and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband in 2006 Frank Robbins, a daughter Susan and her brothers Leroy and Lewis Seekins. She leaves behind her children: Frank Robbins and his wife Cindy of Virginia Beach, VA, Annette Patterson and her husband Jim of Gardiner, KS, Ronald Robbins and his wife Cindy of Winslow, Wayne Robbins and his wife Eleanor of Hooksett, NH, Greg Robbins and his wife Sharon of Orrington and Rusty Robbins and his wife Teresa of Bucksport, 23 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and siblings: Lena Palmer, Linda Ward, Lucille Harvey, Lucy Seekins, Larry Seekins, and Lawrence Seekins, as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation from 3-5 pm Sunday March 23, 2014 at Riposta Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, March 24, 2014.
