Obituary of Michael H. Scott

Michael H. Scott, 64, of Belgrade, died at his home on June 6, 2014. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 20, 1949 to Robert Scott and Marie (Powers) Saunders. Michael served his country in the Army stationed in South Korea. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was a very proud and devoted Dad and Grandpa. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Robert Scott; sister Melissa Hoft; and mother-in-law Mary Dillion. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy Horton-Scott; his sons, Ryan, of Belgrade, and Matthew and his wife Julie, of Belmont, Mass.; twin grandsons, Aaron Michael and Ethan George, of Belmont, Mass.; his mother, Marie Saunders, and brother Jeff Scott and his companion, Corrine Swift, all of Woodbine, KY, and special friends Frank, Herb and Dan. At Michael's request, there will be no services. Arrangements under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine.
