Obituary of Madeleine Bryant

MADELEINE GLORIA GARON BRYANT, 86, passed away November 1, 2014 at Brunswick. She was born in Biddeford on January 28, 1928. She attended St. Joseph’s and Biddeford High School. Madeleine married John Bryant Jr. from which three children were born. She worked at Garland Manufacturing Co. as a bookkeeper for many years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Garon and her brother Larry Garon. Madeleine always believed that her wealth was her children. She is survived by her son David and companion Diane of The Villages, Florida; her daughters, Donna Hunter and husband Rocky of Loveland, CO and Kathleen Strickland and husband John of Brunswick, Maine with whom she lived. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Sara Bryant of Boulder, CO, Amy Thyng and husband Matt of Austin, TX, Bret Hunter of Omaha, Nebraska and Jamie Hunter of Austin, TX; one great grandson Sam Thyng of Austin, TX. Madeleine was a strong woman with a wonderful sense of humor. When faced with adversity, she always had the ability to find the silver lining. Madeleine had many wonderful friends. Among those friends were her childhood friend, Jackie Goodwin of Biddeford and Barbara Waters of Saco.
