Obituary of Larry R. Hubbard

LARRY R. HUBBARD, 55 of Burnham, passed away with his family by his side January 2, 2015 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born March 30, 1959 in Dexter, the son of Lawrence and Theresa (McVarish) Hubbard. Larry graduated from Mt. View High School, Class of 1978. He worked at Ethan Allen as well as Unity College doing maintenance and carpentry work. He also helped build Sandy Stream Village homes in Unity. Larry was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved spending time with family whether it be get-togethers or the holidays. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and will be remembered for his independent spirit. He is predeceased by his father Lawrence M. Hubbard, sister Vicki Lynn Hubbard and brother-in-law Norman Perreault. Larry is survived by his mother, Theresa Hubbard of Unity; son Cody Hubbard of Burnham; his brothers, Danny Hubbard and wife Connie of Unity, Michael Hubbard of Thorndike, Neil Hubbard and wife Garnet of Newburgh; his sisters, Cindy Hubbard and significant other Tommy Hillman of Troy, Debbie Bowden and husband Mike of Waldo, and Rita Goodwin and husband Bob of Merrimac, Massachusetts; nieces and nephews Desirae, Dustin, Meghan, Jason, Ashley, Bridget, Ty, and Tara; great-nieces and nephews, Adrian, Isabella, Hannah, Ethan, Natalie, Ella, Violet, Laylah and Ava; several aunts and uncles; longtime friends;longtime friends Rick Olivier, and Dennis and Claire Smart. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7th 2015 at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
