Obituary of Stephen K. Bush

Stephen K. Bush, 77 of Augusta ME., died on January 27, 2015. He was born in Utica New York and graduated from Gardiner High School. He went on to graduate at the University Of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Stephen was an insurance adjuster prior to his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, loves New England and everything about it. He is predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Kilpatrick Bush, as well his sister Pricilla Morse. He is survived by Fern his beloved wife of 32 years. His brother John Bush of Florida; his 2 daughters; Judy and her husband George Violette of Portland Maine; Sue Dolloff of Fairfield Maine. As well as his 2 Stepdaughters; Carol and husband Phil Desjardin of Madawaska Maine; Joyce and her husband Rick Martin of Bristol Connecticut. He is also survived by 2 nephews, Jeff and Bill; his grandchildren Josh and his wife Danielle Desjardin, Jason and wife Jolene Desjardin; Amanda Martin, Jesse Martin, Joseph Violette and Justin. He loved his great grandchildren Jameson and Alexander (the boys). We all knew him as Grandpa Steve. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 41 Western Avenue, Augusta on July 18, 2015 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/maine.
