She was in comfort and she was in peace. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald E. and Evamay K. Pendleton of Islesboro. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Aldridge Coffin, her brother Donald K. Pendleton and his wife Diane and their families, her nephews Donald Roderick Pendleton and family of Yarmouth, ME and Edwin Pyam Pendleton and family of New York City, several cousins and a very special friend and helpmate, Sharon McCorison. A memorial service will be held on May 2nd at 11 a.m. at the 2nd Baptist Church in Islesboro. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Room. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alice L.
