Obituary of Nancy A. Chaples

NORTHPORT NANCY ANN (HALL) CHAPLES, passed away April 22, 2015 in Belfast. She was born July 18, 1932 in Searsmont, ME. She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret E. Thompson Hall Boulter and father Robert N. Hall; her husband Earl Carleton Chaples; her brother Norman Hall and sister Mary O. (Bosworth) Harvey. Nancy is survived by her beloved children, Joanne Margaret Abbott and husband Arthur of Belfast, Dennis Drew Chaples and wife Judy of Cape Coral, Florida, Michael Earl Chaples and wife Robin of Morrill, Judy Lynn Chaples and Debbie Clifford (also her beloved caregiver) of Northport; grandchildren Angela Abbott Stanley of Washington, ME, Allison Macleod and Bobby Small of Searsport, ME, Heidi Peters of Jacksonville, FL, Dennis Chaples Jr. of Paso Robles, CA, Heather Chaples-Raley from Blythewood, SC, Adam Chaples of Morrill ME, Megan Chaples of Morrill, ME; 18 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She is sadly missed by her dog, Molly. Celebration of life will be held at Belfast American Legion, Church Street, Belfast ME on April 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Spring burial will be at Grove Cemetery in Belfast in May. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
