Obituary of Allyson Sue Ammons
Allyson Sue Ammons,53, of Coombs Rd. Brunswick, Maine, died on Friday May 8th, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Allyson was born to Lamar and Sandra Ammons on June 13th, 1961 in Waterville, Maine.
Allyson graduated from Brunswick High School in 1979 after being raised all around the country in a Military family. She had a great passion for the ocean and the coast of Maine. She enjoyed boat rides, spending time on the beach and collecting sea glass by the buckets. She made beautiful pieces of art and crafts with a nautical theme. She also found peace in gardening and growing roses. She found the most joy spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Allyson is preceded in death by her granddaughter Annabelle Rose Bohan.
Allyson is survived by her parents Lamar and Sandra Ammons of Springtown, TX. Her life partner of 17 years; Richard Wayne Coffin. Two sisters; April and Roy Lease of Fort Worth, TX, Andrea and Adam Lewis of Topsham, Maine. Two brothers: Kelley Ammons of Topsham, Maine and Troy and Debi Ammons of Virginia Beach, VA. Two daughters; Deanna Ammons of Topsham, Maine, Ashley Lallier of Harpswell, Maine. Three sons; Joel Lallier of Portland, Maine, Will and Angela Lallier & Robert and Harriett Pavao of Brunswick, Maine. 5 Nephews and 5 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Allyson's life, for family and friends will be held on her birthday, Saturday June 13th at her and Wayne's home on Coombs Rd. Please drop by anytime after noon.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
