Obituary of Meldon Crow Gibbs
MELDON “CROW” GIBBS, 65 of Jackson, passed away on June 21, 2015 in Bangor. He was born June 4, 1950 in Bangor, Maine, the son of Merlon and Gloria (Lavway) Gibbs. He spent his whole life in the trucking industry hauling milk as well as over the road for his step-father. Crow was the owner and operator for many years of H.O. Bouchard retiring in 2012 and taking on the role as chauffeur for his grandson. He was a man of many colorful words when fired up, but he had a heart of gold.
He is predeceased by his parents; daughter Kristy Rae Gibbs and wife of 39 years, Marcella “Marcy” Gibbs. Crow is survived by his son, Alan Gibbs Sr. of Jackson; grandson Alan Gibbs Jr. of Jackson; granddaughter Ashleigh Gibbs of Brooks; special friends Dennis and Claudette of Monroe; two sisters and two brothers.
