Obituary of Elizabeth M. Dudley

ELIZABETH “LIBBY” (THOMAS) DUDLEY, 86, passed away in Belfast on June 21, 2015. She was born April 25, 1929 in Morrill, Maine to Hosea and Theoda (Gordon) Thomas. Elizabeth attended school in Morrill and Belfast, worked in poultry and shoe manufacturing in Belfast for many years as well as the Yankee Clipper Motel. She enjoyed sewing, reading, doing puzzles with her friend Rosalie and quilting and yard saling with her husband. She loved her cats. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters; husband Frank Patterson and step-daughter Gail Knowlton. Libby is survived by her husband, Francis Dudley of Belfast and his children, Brent, April, Farley, Dale, Steve Dudley; step-children Gary Oxton, Beverly Grant, Marilyn Cook, Frank Patterson Jr.; several special step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to April Dudley for her help in caring for Libby during her illness. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. June 27th at Grove Cemetery in Belfast with Rev.
